Network Operations Organization Changes

In the past several months we have seen positive developments for our organization, as a result of these changing dynamics and progress towards our Vision 2020 goals, we have fine-tuned our network operations team structure to adequately support this new business. I am pleased to announce our new network operations leadership team:

Frank Senator, President of Network Operations, will oversee the Western region including Los Angeles, San Jose, Seattle and Portland.

Dick Eschbacher will continue in his role as President and General Manager of the Jacksonville branch, as well as oversee the development of the Branch Blueprint and the network operations training and development center in Jacksonville.  Dick will continue to report directly to Frank.

Paul Gleason will be Senior Vice President overseeing the New York Metro and Washington, D.C. markets in the Northeast.  In addition to overseeing these markets, Paul will also oversee the network operations’ quality program and OA/DA relationship management.

Mike Nash, currently General Manager of the Minnesota branch, has been given expanded responsibilities as Senior Vice President of the Central region.  Mike will have direct oversight of Minnesota, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and Tucson.

Walter Myers will assume the responsibility as Senior Vice President of the Southeast branches, with direct oversight of Charlotte, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa and South Florida.

Roy Hines’ role as Vice President, Transportation Services Group is unchanged, and he will continue to provide strong and steady leadership over our LDD, safety and asset management teams.

Vince Rosauer, President and General Manager of our Pacific Northwest will provide direct oversight of Portland and Seattle and report to Frank, as will Jacob Moreno and Zane Anderson in San Jose and Los Angeles, respectively.

These adjustments properly align the leadership talent in our organization to the new reality of our business, and give us the depth and quality across the team in leading the branch system. Equally important, with some recent departures in my team, these changes will be executed on a cost savings basis while leveraging our internal talent.

Frank Senatore

President, Network Operations

Our new partnership with Move For Hunger.

We are pleased to share with our van operators the below press release regarding our new partnership with Move For Hunger. This program is currently being piloted in our Flagship branch, but will roll out to the entire organization at the end of April.

The primary means of communication to the customer regarding the program will be delivered by the sales representatives and move coordinators, and the donated goods will be picked up by Suddath packers. However, it is critical that each of us who touches a customer is aware of the program and can answer any questions a customer may have.

This program is only offered to customers whose goods are packed by Suddath. Customers that self-pack or who we only survey, load or haul will not be able to participate at this time.

As you visit the branches, keep in mind that from March 27 to April 7 we are holding a food drive in all Suddath locations to raise awareness throughout the organization of this new partnership. Any donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.

If you have any specific questions regarding Move For Hunger, please email whatwedomatters@suddath.com.
